Peter Island Resort is an exclusive 1800-acre tropical island hideaway reached from Tortola and the resort's 55-foot luxury yacht.
     Everything here is planned to meticulous detail to ensure complete relaxation. Epicurean delights include both Caribbean and international selections and are served in the Tradewinds Restaurant, with beautiful views over Sir Francis Drake Channel.
     Casual dining is at Deadman's Beach Bar and Grill, a great place to stop off during the day when coming on or off the beach. Peter Island offers a complete range of sporting diversions from scuba diving, world-class tennis facilities, sailing, mountain biking, a fitness and massage therapy center and many water sports. Guests can even be taken to a private island for beach  picnics.
     Peter Island prides itself on caring for the environment, and the resort runs its own horticultural tours and and self-guided hiking expeditions to watch endangered sea turtles feeding near the coral reefs.
     All bedrooms are spacious and tastefully furnished and have air conditioning and many additional amenities including ceiling fans, refrigerators, radios and CD players as well as balconies and terraces; two- and four- bedroom villas are also available. The spectacular Crow's Nest Villa comes complete with a private swimming pool, maid, gardener, a personal steward and an island vehicle. It should be noted that children under the age of six can not stay at Peter Island during the winter season.
